Appoint separate Governor for Andhra Pradesh: MP K Hari Babu

New Delhi/Visakhapatnam, January 17: Backing the issue raised by state BJP leaders, Andhra Pradesh BJP Chief Kambhampati Haribabu has urged Narendra Modi led central government to appoint a separate fulltime governor for the coastal state.

The Vizag MP in an official communication to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh expressed concern over the delay in clearing important business as Governor E S L Narasimhan who looks after two Telugu states function from Hyderabad.

Babu also demanded a separate High court building for Andhra Pradesh where both the states are dependent on a common High court at Hyderabad.He further noted that separate Governor with Amaravati as a headquarter will fine tune the existing administrative process for better coordination with the office of Governor.
