Israel gifts Mobile Water Desalination Van to Gujarat; PM Modi along with PM Netanyahu inaugurates iCreate Centre

Ahmedabad, January 17: Known for its advanced technological concept Israel gifted its Mobile Water Desalination Van (Gal-Mobile Vehicle) to Gujarat.Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Israel PM inaugurated International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology iCreate Centre at Deo Dholera Village. 

iCreate aims to facilitate entrepreneurship through creativity, innovation, engineering, product design and leveraging and emerging technologies to deal with major issues as food security, water, connectivity, cyber-security, IT, electronics, non-conventional energy, bio-medical equipment and devices.

 

Welcoming Israel PM warmly, PM Modi said that it is a pleasure that Israel PM graciously gelled up with home state. PM Modi also recalled Professor Vasani who created the concept of ‘iCreate’.

Through ‘iCreate’ India will brighten the name of the extensibility in the whole world, PM Modi said. Lauding Israel’s technology, PM Modi said that Israel's Princeton and creativity inspects the whole world. Also iCreate will help play bigger role in bringing two countries together.

During my Israeli visit last year, we also established a US $40 million fund which will be a nations' joint venture of India and Israel, PM Modi added. These collaborations between India and Israel, the spirit of interconnected development, are very important for the bright future of both countries. In the 21st century, both countries will write new chapters in the History of humanity, PM Modi said.

PM Modi and PM Netanyahu also felicitated the winners of India- Israel Bridge Innovation Competition.
