Mumbai, January 18: While India Israel relations are on high as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was welcomed in ‘Marathmoli’ style after he touched down in Mumbai. PM Netanyahu’s Mumbai’s visit has many events on cards: Meeting Business leaders, India-Israel Business Summit, Nariman House where he will visit Moshe Holtzberg. 

Early morning Israel PM had interaction with top business leaders which included captains of the industry, including Anand Mahindra, Ajay Piramal, Adi Godrej, and Chanda Kochhar. “Maharashtra looks forward to discussions and collaboration with @Israel for development in agriculture, sustainable irrigation and technologies for security,” Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis welcomed PM Netanyahu.

 

India Israel Business Summit was opened up by PM Netanyahu along with CM Fadnavis and Israel Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon. India Israel Business Summit that took off at Taj Iconic Hotel with an aim to push innovation for the development of future of both nations.

Addressing the India Israel Business Summit, PM Netanyahu said that we are trying to develop Israel with the changing times and for that we wish to collaborate with our old friend India. Echoing similar views, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that “I welcome Hon PM @netanyahu on behalf of 120 million people of Maharashtra! Mumbai is not only the financial capital of India but also city of dreams. We acknowledge the role of Jewish community in India’s journey of development. We are looking forward for more and more cooperation and engagement and wish to take this age old friendship to the next level, Cm Fadnavis added.

We are also signing MoU for a huge water grid in Marathwada. We want to collaborate more with Israel for the welfare of our farmers, informed CM Fadnavis said while talking about innovation in agriculture.
