KT Rama Rao invites Japanese business leaders to invest in Telangana

Tokyo/Hyderabad, January 18: In order to strengthen bilateral business ties between Telangana and Japan, Industries and Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao has urged leading Japanese business players to invest in the newly carved state of Telangana.

On Wednesday, KTR interacted with several business personalities and industrial heads and discussed future plans about the new opportunities and expected collaborations with Japan. During this meeting, Rao expressed that Telangana government would adopt the best business practices crafted by Japan in various sectors like science and technology, industrial development and waste management and many others.

Briefing about the existing ventures with Japan government, the KTR mentioned that under the banner of Japan International Cooperation Agency, several projects in Telangana were assisted by the Japanese financial institution.

The Minister urged Indian Ambassador Sujan Chenoy to take all possible steps to fine-tune the business partnership between Telangana and Japan. On this occasion, Telangana government’s adviser G Vivek and Principal Secretary of the Industries department Jayesh Ranjan and other officials were present.
