The state governmentthat said that the parents can easily monitor their children in the classroom in real-time basis on phone itself which makes the plan transparent and accountable. He also directed the officials to complete CCTV's installations in 3 months.

Delhi's chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on his twitter account Wednesday that the monitoring system would make the whole system transparent and accountable, and would ensure the safety of kids.

There are about 1,000 schools in the region, and the CCTV will be installed in all government schools within three months, according to Kejriwal. Also, the mobile app, which is still in development, will also include the complaint function.

Incidents like the rape of a five-year-old girl in a school in Shahdara and the murder of a seven-year-old boy in Ryan International School in Gurgaon have increased concerns among parents in the city and spurred the government to move the project ahead in order to increase the safety of students.
