Moscow, January 19: Russia has again proved that it is in sync with Iran as it argued for preserving the international agreement on Iran's nuclear program. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has made it clear that Moscow will not support modification of Iran Nuclear deal.

"We will not support what the United States is trying to do, changing the wording of the agreement, incorporating things that will be absolutely unacceptable for Iran," Lavrov told a news conference in Moscow.

Few days ago, U.S. President Donald Trump said he would waive nuclear sanctions against Iran. The move is intended to give US and it’s EU allies to give a chance to modify its deal. Exactly to be said a chance to fix the “terrible flaws of the deal.

"The failure of JCPOA, especially as a result of one of the parties of the P5+1, would be an alarming message for the entire international security architecture, including the prospects for dealing with the nuclear problem on the Korean Peninsula," said Lavrov. JCPOA (The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) refers to the Iran nuclear deal that was signed in July 2015.
