New Delhi, January 2: Welcoming the New Year, the calendar for 2018 was launched with the theme of tourist spots. This iconic tourist spot includes places of 8 regions of North-East. The calendar was launched by Jitendra Kumar along with Shri Navin Verma and other officials from the ministry.


 

The state has launched a calendar which will enhance their regions beauty and will attract many to come and visit this tourist places. This section of India is although being neglected and ignored due to certain reasons but the scenic beauty attracts people the most. Tourists prefer visiting these places usually because it reflects the culture and tradition of India like other regions.

 

The mountains and the greenery in this region attract most of the people and for generating more interest among the people. Although the mountainous scenery is arresting, streams, rivers and waterfalls indifferently takes people along a different place altogether. It is a land of rising and falling hills and plains with flourishing green cover and wide variety of rare and exotic flora and fauna.

Even though having this beautiful scenario around them the people of this region are grounded to their culture and motherland. The North East region consisting of 8 states never fails to attract the tourists. However these places are not much established on the travellers map, yet they have their own charm that sweeps you off your feet. Everyone should visit these places at least for to experience its charismatic magic.
