Washington, January 2: ‘NaPak’ intentions of Pakistan was exposed long ago. The whole world now knows the reality of Pakistan that it is the only country which provides safe haven to terrorism and harbours terrorist in other nations. Hitting out at Islamabad and earlier government of United States, President Trump said that US had been foolish to provide massive financial aid to Pakistan.

Notably, lashing out on Monday, the United States President Donald Trump said that the US has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, but in return, Pakistan has given nothing but lies and deceit.

President Trump in a strongly worded message in his first tweet of the year, Trump said, “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

However, earlier in the day, the Trump administration has communicated to Pakistan that it must take decisive action against terrorist groups and dismantle their safe havens on its soil. The US government also planned to withhold $255 million in military fund to Pakistan as Washington is skeptical Pakistan has not taken serious steps against the terror networks, particularly the notorious Haqqani terrorist network

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said that his no more claim stands no ground as all aids provided by the US has been accounted for. “Pakistan is ready to publicly provide every detail of the US aid that it has received,” he said.

Asif further said, “The claim by Trump regarding the funds, if we account for it, they include reimbursements too for the services rendered by Pakistan.” “Trump is disappointed at the US defeat in Afghanistan and that is the only reason he is flinging accusations at Pakistan,” the foreign minister added.
