Sharjah, January 20: Indian Cricket players have again reached a final setting the hope of another crown in the feather. India is set to take on Pakistan in the Blind Cricket World Cup final in Sharjah on Saturday. In 2014 world cup, India had same opposition and won the tournament.

Defending champions India beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the semi-final to enter the final while Pakistan qualified for the final after defeating Sri Lanka on Wednesday. India has remained unbeaten throughout this tournament and is considered the favourites to retain their title.

Initially, the match was scheduled to be held at the Gadaffi Cricket Stadium in Lahore. But considering the ongoing tension between India-Pakistan, the match was shifted to UAE.

The two sides met before in another match where Pakistan was defeated by India. Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 156 runs in the semi-final. India and Pakistan are facing each other for the third time in the final of the 50-over Blind Cricket World Cup tournament.
