Comfortable cozy travel for ST travelers soon in Maharashtra

Maharashtra, January 21: Travelling in ST buses has always been a task for most of us. Standing in those long queues and the hassle while travelling makes one tired. But these ST buses or we generally call it as the ‘Lal Dabba’ is very essential for daily traveling for a common man.

 

The aim has always been to provide comfortable and easy travelling to the masses and keeping this framework Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray launched various schemes and facility including rehabilitation for naxals affected youths and inaugurations of these facilities.

The launch of Parivartan Bus, ShivShahi Sleeper coach bus, LalPri bus was done under a Bumipoojan at 15 ports in Maharashtra. Present in this function were Subhash Desai, Diwakar Raote, Vishnu Sawra, Deepak Kesarkar, Sanjay Rathod and various other MP and MLAs.

 

The aim has been to make bus port facilities at 15 places. The Pune Swargate has been aimed to content with multi modal facility. These schemes by Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation include residential facilities at ST bus stands, film screens at some bus stations; drivers are given training centers for tribal districts at Gadchiroli, Palghar, Shahada in Nandurbar and the schemes for employment to surrendered youths who returned back to mainstream. It has been decided that jobs in MSRTC to be given to dependent of the martyrs and free travel in ST bus to their spouse.

 
 

Further all these schemes were termed as bus development and praised various department of the State government involved in framing these schemes for all sections of society. Various schemes have also been launched which includes rehabilitation of naxal affected youths and inauguration of new facilities. Development in the country is essential and this development should be accessible to even the last person. Adivasi people in those areas have also been stepped on the path of progress. The people working under them who get a stipend of Rs.450 will be increased and a hiked price will be given to them.

 

Therefore these new facilities and schemes under the MSRTC has been an added advantage for the people travelling through ST buses.
