‘Best out of Waste’ perceived in true sense at Vadodara Railway Station

Vadodara, January 22: The saying ‘best out of waste’ becomes reality in true sense. Making use of waste by recycling it the localites of Vadodara have used things that are literally scrap. These scraps are the unused wires, locomotives, screws which are left behind without any use.

 

Taking forward the tradition of using waste and creating innovative items, Vadodara Railway Station witnesses unique items made from scrap. The scrap thrown at railway stations and also the unused materials in offices were put into use by making these unique and innovative objects. This idea was taken into action by the local artists, designers and architects who came forward and decided to joined together to make the surrounding of Vadodara station not only beautiful but also refreshing by their creations from the Railway scrap.

 

Sculpture and furniture camp was organised to create work of art and furniture from Railway scrap to be used at the Railway Station. People were in for a refreshing & pleasant surprise when they saw the artefacts & furniture made artistically at Vadodara Railway station. These artefacts are used as wall hanging, place to sit at the station and also various showpieces which symbolise using waste.

 

Viewing these waste used for something productive, it seems that the people of Vadodara have lived up to the expectations and are moving forward on the path of cleanliness and keeping Bharat Swachh.
