Mumbai, January 3: Questioning the intent of Central Board of Film Certification on the issue of 'Padmavati' erstwhile royal of Udaipur Arvind Singh who witnessed the special CBFC screening has slammed the top certification body for engineering the alleged drama of special screening.

Arvind Singh was in the special panel constituted by the CBFC in order to verify the content of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most anticipated epic drama. The annoyed royal family member has slammed CBFC Chairperson Prasson Joshi for neglecting the suggestions of the panel during the certification screening. However, Joshi already made it clear that CBFC has taken a fair and balanced decision by grating ‘U/A’ certificate to makers of Padmavati along with some changes.

According to industry buzz, the royal family members allegedly maintained that story which is being presented by Sanjay Leela Bhansali clearly far away from the historical facts. In an official letter to Information and Broadcasting minister Smriti Irani, Singh expressed that the flick might trigger the problem of law and order if released in Rajasthan, which will go to poll in the month of December. Meanwhile, the members of Karni Sena have once again demanded a nation-wide ban on Deepika Padukone starrer Padmavati.

According to media reports, Maker of Padmavati after getting a ‘U/A’ certificate from CBFC are gearing up for the worldwide release on February 9. The prestigious project was scheduled for the grand release on December 1 but stalled by the nationwide protest.
