JK on the path of mainstream! Another young Kashmiri boy shun terrorism and returns home safely

Srinagar, January 30: A young boy who had earlier joined terrorist has left the path of violence and destruction and came back to the mainstream. This was said by Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police S P Vaid on Monday via Twitter on Monday. Notably, the darkness of terrorism, radicalization is getting faded from Jammu and Kashmir slowly and steadily.

 

Humanity, peace, law and order may get lighter in the dark shadow of terrorism but it cannot be wiped out. A young boy hailing from South Kashmir who had earlier joined terrorist ranks has come back to the mainstream and left the path of violence and destruction.

However, police refused to disclose the youth’s identity due to security reasons and said that he had joined terrorist group some time ago. Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police S P Vaid took to a twitter and said, “A young boy who had earlier joined terrorist ranks has come back to the mainstream in south Kashmir and left the path of violence and destruction. Another family made complete.”


Earlier, in the month of January this year, another three young Kashmiri boys have left the path of terrorism and returned to home safely. However, Majid Khan, a resident of Anantnag in south Kashmir was the first to surrender and came back to the mainstream after his parents urged him. He surrendered to the police on 17 of November last year. He was a student and a popular football goalkeeper who later joined Laskar-e-Toiba terror outfit. After Majid, one more youth from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district who had joined militancy returned home safely.
