Dehradun, January 30: In order to regulate the education system in the state, the new law will soon be passed in accordance with the fees structure in the schools. It will be levied on private schools and on their tuition fees structure.

This was said by the state education minister Arvind Pandey in a press conference. “We are working on finalizing modalities of the bill. I cannot tell you how much time it would take but let me assure you that the (fee) bill will be tabled,” Pandey said. The minister, however, didn’t specify any timeframe but added that it would be done soon.

The minister has also said that from the next academic session all the schools, be it government or private, will teach students from the NCERT books.

Additionally, the Uttarakhand government has also decided to introduce a ‘transparent system’ under which all scholarships meant for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Caste students, will be directly transferred into their bank accounts.

This will help to uplift the weaker section of the state. And also it will enhance the digitalization in the state. Transparency system will help to make the administration work properly.
