New Delhi, January 31: Public welfare and their benefits are important for proper functioning, and therefore to give them an appropriate treatment in health care centers and hospitals the officials have started a toll free number 18002088900 for Central Government Health Scheme across the country.

 

Hospital and Health Care centres are working for improvement and enhancement of health issues related to the people there. Providing proper concern and detailed information to the people, sometimes they fail to give proper treatment. Complaint and grievances of the public can however be enlisted in the given account and through the toll free number. This also enables the working of the officials and help keeping track of the same.

 

How will this toll free number work?

Earlier the people were reported to pass their issues with directly contacting the authorities in person or through phone calls, emailing. Later due to digital technology and upgrading the system to ease the working style the government started the one click system.

Written Complains or suggestions can be dropped in the complaint box or suggestion box displayed in the Wellness centres. After the complaint is been registered the health department will set a committee meeting where the officials will go through the grievances people face. They will conduct this meeting on every 2nd Saturday of every month and plan to reduce the grievances of the people. Apart from this the officials will also conduct a meeting on all Wednesdays, from 11.00AM to 1.00PM where they scan through the complainants related to medical reimbursement claims and sort out issues related.

On medical reimbursement issues and claims the committee then holds a meeting on Claims Day held in the Additional Directors Zone or city office on every 3rd Thursday of the month, with prior intimation and Claims Adalat are held every six months. Beneficiaries may also lodge their complains or grievances in the “ Public Grievance Redress And Monitoring System(CPGRAMS)” in the Government portal- “pgportal.gov.in” or through email.

The Central Government Health Scheme provides health care facilities to individuals and the dependant family members within the framework of their set rules. Mainly working for the government employees and providing them with comprehensive medical care under the scheme, this also aims and help the common public to address their grievances. In a country where the people need proper medical help and care, the government is taking due measures so that people live a healthy life. Somehow while addressing their issues, people fail to connect to the sources and therefore to provide proper beneficiaries to the people the helpline has been started.
