India Israel shake hands to give push in Oil and Gas sector

New Delhi, January 4: India Israel shook hands thereby inked Memorandum of Understanding MoU on cooperation in the Oil and Gas Sector. The MoU aims to provide impetus to India - Israel ties in the energy sector. 

The cooperation envisaged under the agreement will facilitate promotion of investments in each other's countries, technology transfer, R&D, conducting joint studies, capacity building of human resources and collaboration in the area of Start-ups.

 

Back in August 2017, India Israel also inked a MoU on "India-Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund (I4F)" where India and Israel vowed to make a contribution of four million US Dollars each for the fund annually for five years. This MoU envisages promotion of bilateral Industrial R&D and Innovation cooperation in the fields of science and technology.

Meanwhile when Prime Minister Narendra Modi went Israel for his tour being first Indian Prime Minister, around twelve MoUs were inked in fields like agriculture, water and healthcare sectors. India Israel friendship has always been on another level due to their roots that redefined the meaning of sharing mutual ties, helping each other every time.
