Pakistani national caught while trying to enter Jaisalmer Air Force station; Aadhaar card recovered

Jaipur, December 4: A Pakistani national carrying Aadhaar card who allegedly tried to enter the Jaisalmer Air Force station was caught by the security personnel on Wednesday early morning. Authorities suspect that the arrested person may have links with Pakistani spying agency ISI.

 

Notably, security personnel arrested a Pakistani man who was trying to enter the Jaisalmer Air Force station. After the arrest during preliminary interrogation, personnel identified Pakistani National by the name of Purkha Ram who was living in Rajasthan’s Ganganagar with his family for 18 years and was employed as a farm worker.

Air Force personnel also recovered a Pakistani passport and an Aadhaar card from the possession of Purkha Ram. Ram entered the Air Force station with some daily wage workers and was caught when he tried to enter in the air force station after jumping the boundary wall. However, Ram claimed that he entered the campus by mistake. Authorities suspect that the arrested person may have links with Pakistani spying agencies.

Meanwhile, Gaurav Yadav, Jaisalmer superintendent of police also confirmed that a Pakistani man was caught. He further added that the Air Force authorities have not yet handed him over to the police. On the other side, other Pakistani nationals were arrested from restricted border areas in Rajasthan’s Barmer violating visa norms.
