Telangana set to come up with IT industry cluster along with 1.5 lakhs of job opportunities

Hyderabad, January 4: Techfreak Telangana set to come up with another IT industry cluster at Budvel where around 30 firms have given nod for setting up units. This move aims to generate at least 1.5 Lakhs of employment opportunities in next five years. 

Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao announced about the new IT Industry cluster who visited the area located near Hyderabad International Airport and said the foundation stone would be laid soon for the IT cluster.

“Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao will lay the foundation stone soon for the cluster,” said a statement from the IT Ministry, quoting the Minister. “The 30 companies included some multi-national companies as well. We will enter into agreements with those companies soon,” Minister added.

 

He asked the officials of the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation to prepare the groundwork and provide basic infrastructure for the cluster at the earliest. “A master plan is underway. The companies will create 1.25 lakh jobs in the next five years,” he said.

IT Minister Rama Rao, along with officials, inspected the lands which will be acquired for the IT cluster in Budvel. He directed them to provide all infrastructure facilities in the area.
