Ratan Tata offers prayers at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam

Tirupati, January 9: Veteran industrialist and former chairman of Tata Sons Ratan Tata on Monday visited the holy shrine of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and took the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. The 80-years old business leader was accompanied by TATA Sons chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran.

Speaking to the media after offering prayers at Tirumala hills, Tata expressed happiness over his association with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam where Tata group and TTD would be constructing a cancer hospital at Tirupati. On this occasion, TDP MP from Vijayawada Kesineni Nani and TTD officials were present.

Tata Trusts and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) have joined hands for the construction of a cancer center. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has already been signed between by Tata Trusts and TTD.
