Bengaluru, January 9: Launching a frontal attack on Siddaramaiah led Congress government, BJP state Chief BS Yeddyurappa said that state government has miserably failed to tackle the activities of anti-social elements in the state.

On Monday, BJP leaders under the leadership of Yeddyurappa staged a massive protest against the brutal killings of BJP-RSS activists. Addressing the gathering, the former Chief Minister accused Siddaramaiah of fuelling communal tension for the sake of vote bank politics.

The BJP leader slammed Karnataka Home Minister R Ramalinga Reddy for not monitoring the murder case of Bajarang Dal activist Deepak Rao in Surathkal. The Shimoga MP argued that none other than Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is responsible for the weakening of the law and order situation in the state.
