Bengaluru, Oct 1: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has finally revealed the date of long pending cabinet expansion of Congress-JD(S) coalition government.
Speaking to the media here, the Chief Minister announced that the induction of new cabinet members will take place on October 12. He assured that coalition government will complete the tenure of five years.
The forthcoming cabinet expansion is intended to pacify the rebel leaders of Congress who were reportedly annoyed with the functioning of CM Kumaraswamy.
According to media reports, leaders like Ramalinga Reddy, H K Patil, and M B Patil will be inducted into Kumaraswamy Cabinet. Senior partner, Congress will get six ministerial berths whereas JD(S) will get one.
