UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath meets family members of Vivek Tiwari; assures full support

Lucknow, Oct1: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today met family members of Apple techy Vivek Tiwari, who was shot in the state capital by a local cop.

Kalpana Tiwari, wife of 38-year-old Vivek Tiwari along with her daughters today called on Adityanath at his official residence. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma was also present. The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a compensation of Rs. 25 lakh for the family.

Condemning the horrifying incident, Adityanath said that such violation of law and order will not be tolerated at any cost and assured stern action against the culprits.

A day after the unfortunate development Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited the family members of the deceased.

On 29 September, Vivek Tiwari, an employee of Apple was allegedly shot by patrolling cops for reportedly disobeying the orders of local Cops near Gomti Nagar area.
