Hyderabad, Oct 11: On the 76th birthday of Big B Amitabh Bachchan, makers of Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, today shared the highly-anticipated first look poster of Mr. Bachchan’s character. The legendary actor will be donning the role of Guru Gosayi Venkanna the mentor of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

The multi-starrer biopic will narrate the extraordinary tale of India’s unsung hero Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who fought against the atrocities of British establishment much before the 1857’s historic revolt.

Marking the occasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 63rd birthday, makers had released the action-packed teaser of the epic period drama. The period drama will recreate the chronicles of India's first civil rebellion against the British rule.

Besides, Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan, Sye Raa has rich star-cast which includes Tamil Superstar Nayanthara, Talented Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu and Baahubali fame Tamannaah Bhatia.

Druva fame Surender Reddy is helming the multi-lingual period drama and Actor- Producer Ram Charan is bankrolling the project under the banner of Konidela Production Company.

The much-anticipated magnum opus will hit the screen in 2019.
