With Actor Ajith Kumar’s guidance, MIT Daksha team brings laurel to India

Chennai, Oct 11: Actor Ajith Kumar once again proved his mettle but this time the platform was Medical Express-2018 UAV Challenge held at Dalby Australia. Indian team from Chennai’s MIT Daksha under the guidance of Ajith Kumar bagged the second position among 13 other participants. Appreciating this achievement, Anna University vice-chancellor Soorappa thanked Ajith for his sincere efforts.

In May, the Anna University appointed Ajith as an adviser for the Mission Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. The 47-year actor despite busy schedule invested crucial time and efforts for the prestigious international event and guided Daksha team. He worked as ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser’.

The ace actor known for his low profile nature is very passionate about designing and operating remote-controlled vehicles. Apart from films, Thala is a sports lover having a keen interest in the bike and car racing. The actor is also a trained pilot.

Last seen in director Shiva’s spy thriller Vivegam with Kajal Agrawal and Vivek Oberoi, the handsome hunk is gearing up for his next outing Vishwasam, set in a rural background where he will be reuniting with director Shiva. Nayanthara will be the leading lady.
