Hyderabad, October 12: Refuting the charges of BJP National President Amit Shah, care-take IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Thursday said that BJP’s poll gimmick will not work in Telangana.

Speaking to the media, Rao slammed BJP led Central government for not addressing the legitimate issues faced by the newly crafted state.

Commenting on the strength of state BJP, Rao took a dig and said that Shah’s party did not have a single corporator in Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and dreaming of ruling state.

Taking exceptions to Amit Shah’s under-development remark, the Minister asked BJP President not to mislead the people of Telangana. KTR blamed BJP led NDA government for not implanting the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act, which were promised to Telangana.

In his recent poll rally at Karimnagar, Shah launched a blistering attack on K Chandrashekhar Rao led TRS government for not delivering the promise made during 2014 assembly polls. He even dubbed TRS as a dynastic party.
