Mumbai, Oct 12: The magical pair of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao is once again ready to steal the hearts of movie buffs. Mental Hai Kya, the black-comedy will hit the screens on 29 March 2019. The Newton star took to Twitter and confirmed the release date.

After national award-winning flick Queen, this will be the second collaboration between Kangana and Rajkummar Rao. Currently, Kangana is busy with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. In 2019, Kangana will be seen in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s sports drama 'Panga', project under the banner of Fox Star Hindi.

Produced under Ekta Kapoor’s prestigious Balaji motion pictures, acclaimed film-maker Prakash Kovelamudi has helmed the project. Manmarziyaan fame Kanika Dhillon has penned the story. This will be the first Hindi outing of director Prakash Kovelamudi.


Prakash is the son of Veteran Telugu director K Raghavendra Rao and brother-in-law of Baahubali Producer Shobu Yarlagadda. He has Telugu films like Bommalata, Anaganaga O Dheerudu, Size Zero at his credit. In 2006, Bommalata had won the title of National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. His latest outing was Anushka Shetty starrer Size Zero.
