Start-ups will amplify Gujarat’s economy: CM Rupani

Gandhinagar, Oct 12: In order to encourage budding entrepreneurs, the Gujarat government has decided to invest Rs 7,000 crore for the development of Start-up and Innovation.

Addressing the inaugural function of Vibrant Gujarat Startup and Technology Summit here, Rupani announced that the state government will support 2,000 start-ups. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appreciated the innovative ideas pitched by the contestants. Currently, Gujarat has operational 184 start-ups.

Underlining the importance of information and technology, the Chief Minister opined that emerging Start-ups with fresh ideas and innovation has a potential to find solutions for the development goals of the state government. He articulated that Start-ups can bring the required change in the conventional eco-system.
