Panaji, October 13: This is how a true leader works. Whatever the situation is, wherever he is, it won’t affect its work passion and dedication. Same is the person like Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar who held a meeting with state BJP core committee at an old private ward of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi on Friday.

 

CM Parrikar met Union MoS for AYUSH Shripad Naik, BJP's Goa unit president and Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar, three Goa cabinet ministers and two Goa Lok Sabha MPs to discuss issues of governance in the state.

Coming from the meeting, Naik said that Parrikar will be returning to Goa during Diwali.

"We took a review of the governance in Goa during the meeting. The chief minister is expected to return to Goa from AIIMS during Diwali," Naik said.

Naik also said that later in the day, the CM will hold a meeting with alliance partners- Goa Forward Party (GFP), Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and three independents supporting the government- to discuss about portfolio allocation.

CM Parrikar, 62, has been undergoing treatment for his pancreatic ailment at AIIMS since last month.
