Bengaluru, Oct 15: Expressing Confidence over the performance of Congress- JD(S) alliance in upcoming by-polls in the state, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said that the results will pave the way for BJP’s ouster in 2019.
Speaking to the media here, the Chief Minister claimed that the ruling alliance partners will sweep all the five-segment. He further added that by-polls results will hamper BJP’s attempt of destabilizing state government.
JD(S) will contest from Shimoga and Mandiya segment whereas Congress opted for Bellary seat. Anitha Kumaraswamy, wife of H D Kumaraswamy will be contesting from Ramnagara assembly constituency.
The Karnataka by-elections are scheduled for November 3.
