Telugu film body forms Voice of Women, a platform to address #MeToo cases

Hyderabad, Oct 16: In a bid to address the issues of sexual harassment faced by the women in Telugu film industry, a platform called VOW (Voice of Women) has been constituted.
Under this activity, Voice of Women will look after the cases filed by women workforce who are associated with different departments of filmmaking. The film body consists of actresses, women directors and technicians in Telugu film industry.
Earlier, leading actress Samantha Akkineni who prominently works in Telugu and Tamil films took to Twitter and urged women to speak against the sexual harassment.
