Amaravati, Oct 16: In a fresh salvo at BJP led central government, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that government agencies are being misused to settle a political score against the Andhra Pradesh government.

Addressing the weekly teleconference, Naidu stated that Income Tax raid on TDP lawmaker CM Ramesh is the evident example of the center’s political agenda against the Yellow army.

The TDP National President mentioned that instead of addressing the plight unjust bifurcation, BJP with its non-cooperative and adamant stand is stalling the development of the coastal state.

Dubbing Income Tax raids as a political vendetta for demanding Special status, Babu claimed that the healthy democracy does not allow the practice of threatening and intimidating. Naidu opined that one must compete in developmental activity but the revengeful attitude is highly unacceptable.

On October 12, TDP Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh was probed by Income Tax department and series of raids were conducted at Ramesh’s establishment. Incidentally, CM Ramesh, the member of the upper house was on hunger strike for the demand of Kadapa steel plant.
