Liberating vibes of commitment and partnership; India, Tanzania sign pacts to set up research centres

New Delhi, October 16: Liberating vibes of a robust friendship and bilateral relations, India and Tanzania have signed two Memorandum of Understanding. These two MoUs include strengthening foreign relations between both the countries.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Tanzanian Foreign Minister Dr. Augustine Mahiga signed the MoUs following India-Tanzania 9th Session of Joint Commission on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation in New Delhi.

 

The MoUs signed are for Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Centre for Foreign Relations, (CFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation (MFAEAC). Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and National Research Development Corporation, (NRDC) New Delhi, India.

In a tweet, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, comprehensive discussion held on stepping up cooperation in trade and investment, defence and security, development partnership, Science and Technology, oil and natural gas, culture and people-to-people relations.

The relationship between the two countries are on the foundation of shared ideological commitment and has blossomed into a closer partnership.
