Netflix to introduce new tariffs for India

New Delhi, Oct 19: International over-the-top service provider Netflix has decided to review its existing tariff in order to lure the potential video customers in India.

As reported by Bloomberg, Gregory Peters, Chief Product Officer of Netflix in a recently held conference call had mentioned about Netflix’s new pricing model.

The streaming giant is keen on tapping the dynamic market of 150 million users where the high-speed Internet-enabled smartphone has redefined the content consumption pattern.

After the Successful outing of series like Sacred Games, Netflix is focusing on the regional market along with English and Hindi stuff.

According to media reports, the international firm is working on a lower-priced plan to fine-tune the business expansion and development.

Recently published Sandvine's Global Internet Phenomena Report suggested that Netflix is the number one platform which commands the 15 percent traffic of global internet.

The downstream platform also cemented its top position in the midst of other Over-the-top media services like Amazon Prime and YouTube, reveals report.
