J&K: Security forces kill two Pakistani intruders along LoC in Sunderbani sector; three army jawans attain martyrdom

Srinagar, October 22: In Jammu and Kashmir, two Pakistan intruders were killed in a fierce encounter with Army in Sunderbani sector on the Line of Control in Jammu on Sunday. However in this encounter, three Indian Army soldiers also attained martyrdom.


 

According to Defence Spokesperson, one soldier also suffered grievous injuries in the encounter and had to be air evacuated to Army Command Hospital, Udhampur.

Two AK 47 rifles and warlike stores were recovered from the heavily armed slain intruders. Troops have launched massive search operation in the area which was still going on when reports last came in.

Along with this, three Jaish-e-Mohammad, terrorists have been eliminated in an encounter that had erupted in laroo at Kulgam in South Kashmir early morning of Sunday.


 

Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh said that encounter is over and searches at the encounter site are continuing.

Two army personnel were also injured in the initial fire by terrorists when a cordon and search operation was launched in the area.
