Visakhapatnam, Oct 25: Visakhapatnam police today nabbed G Srinivasa Rao, a native of Amalapuram for attacking YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam Airport. The YSR Chief Suffered minor injuries on his arm left arm.
According to the latest report, accused Srinivas in the name of clicking selfie attacked YSRCP chief with a sharp knife when he was waiting in the VIP lounge. Responding to the development, the CISF police arrested the accused and sent for interrogation.
Meanwhile, IT Minister Nare Lokesh, Home Minister N Chinarajappa and Union Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu strongly condemned the attack of the leader of the opposition.
Condemning the attack on the leader of the opposition, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister N Chinarajappa directed agencies to investigate the matter of security breach.
