Ahead of the general elections, Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan meets BSP leader

Lucknow, Oct 25: Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan who is gearing up for upcoming general elections and Andhra Pradesh assembly polls on Wednesday made a surprise visit to the state capital of Uttar Pradesh.

The Actor turned politician flew down to Lucknow and met senior Bahujan Samaj Party leaders. Pawan was scheduled to meet BSP Chief Mayavati but the proposed meeting did not materialize as she was not present in the city.

During his short visit, the Jana Sena Party Chief visited the Dr. BR Ambedkar Memorial and paid rich tributes to BR Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule, and Kanshi Ram. On this occasion, Nadendla Manohar by former united Andhra Assembly Speaker and other officials were present.

If reports are anything to go by, Jana Sena Party under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan is willing to team up with Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party in a bid to lure the weaker section. The actor who represents Kapu community is pitching hard to join hands with Bahujan Samaj Party’s AP unit.

Speaking to the media, Pawan Kalyan heaped praise on former Chief Minister and BSP stalwart Kanshi Ram. When asked about the proposed poll understanding, Kalyan said that Jana Sena will take the call soon.
