Rashtra Sevika Samiti celebrates Vijayadashami

Bhopal, Oct 29: Describing women as strength of the nation, Bharti Kushwah Sah-Prant Karyawahika of Samiti said that women’s power needs to be further consolidated to make the country strong and prosperous.

She was speaking at the Vijayadashami function organized by Rashtra Sevika Samiti at Bhopal. She said that we are fortunate to have taken birth in this holy land of Bharat. She further said that Durga was the organized form of women’s power and prowess that eliminated the wicked and cruel demons and saved the gods, re-established the dharma and protected the nobles.

Stating that Bharat was different from all other countries in the world she said that it only in our culture that welfare of all is perceived. We must safeguard our cultural ethos and values. Women are the base of this nation and therefore, needs to be stronger, she said.

The program was presided over by Smruti Sharma. District Karyawahika Mamta proposed vote of thanks. The participants presented demonstration of Niyuddh, yoga, samata and other physical programs.
