Mayawati dumps Congress; says no alliance in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh

Lucknow, Oct 3: Ahead of the important assembly polls in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) Mayawati today declared that her party will not have any kind of poll understanding with the grand old party. The BSP Supremo had already tie-up with Ajit Jogi’s party for the Chhattisgarh Assembly polls.

Earlier, reports were surfaced about the poll understanding between BSP and Congress in order to prevent the division of votes. Mayawati’s move has once again shattered the idea of the united opposition front.

Speaking to media, the former UP Chief Minister claimed that none other local leaders of Congress are sabotaging the proposed alliance. On the contrary, Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi were in favor of stitching an allice with the regional outfit, she maintained. 

Terming the principal opposition party as ‘arrogant’ Maya opined that Congress without out the help of regional forces cannot venture out the plan of BJP’s ouster. She went on saying that the apex leadership is not aware of ground reality and consistently repeating the same mistakes. “Congress Instead of fighting BJP is keen on ruining regional parties.”  She accused
