On Tuesday, officials of World Bank called on Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and discussed the proposed action plan.
According to an official statement, a dedicated platform with the help of technology will be developed to offer the facilities like telemedicine, e-health centers, and e-Health records.
It will cover 1,147 primary health centers, 192 community health centers, 31 area hospitals, 13 district hospitals, and 23 teaching hospitals in the state. The project is being operated on the pilot basis in 65 hospitals especially in tribal areas.
On this occasion, Naidu briefed delegates about the efforts taken by the state government in order to improve health services by utilizing IT. He opined that the common citizen of AP should be able to access the global Healthcare facilities at affordable rates.
