Amaravati, Oct 30: Expressing satisfaction over the progress of the national irrigation project Polavaram, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu said that Polavaram the life-line of Andhra will soon be a reality. Charing a weekly Polavaram review meeting and video inspection, the Chief Minister asked concern officials and stake-holder to speed up the ongoing construction work.

Reviewing the crucial issue of Relief and Rehabilitation (R&R), Naidu directed that by January beneficiaries should be able to avail the facility of the Relief and Rehabilitation Housing scheme where 48 colonies are being constructed by the state government. The Chief Minister also assured financial assistant for Relief and Rehabilitation settlements.
