RSS for immediate construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya

Replying to queries from the press persons during a press conference held on the backdrop of the meet, on Supreme Court’s decision to postpone the hearing on the title suit of Ramjanmasthan, Ayodhya till January next year, Arun Kumar said that RSS was of the view that the temple should be constructed as soon as possible.

He said that Ram temple at Ayodhya would lead to an atmosphere of goodwill and harmony in the country. He also said that with the High Court decision it has already been established beyond doubt that concerned land is Shri Ramjanamsthan and a temple existed at the site before the disputed structure and hence now the issue is limited only to decision on land for temple construction.

We are of the opinion that Supreme Court should immediately decide the case and if there are any problems, The Government should bring legislation to remove the obstacles and handover the Ram janamsthan bhoomi to Shri Ramjanambhoomi Nyas. We have supported all the decisions of Pujay Sant and Dharam Sansad regarding the movement to build construction of temple and will continue to do in future, he said.

Meanwhile the three-day meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which began here from today is expected to deliberate on qualitative aspects of core organizational issues like its horizontal and vertical expansion, Arun Kumar said.

He said that the RSS takes an organizational overview twice a year - first at the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) which is held in the month of March and then at the half yearly meet between Vijaydashmi and Diwali which is known as the ABKM.

ABPS is attended by around 1400 representatives from almost all organizations and units of the RSS and resolutions are passed in that meeting. While ABKM is comparatively smaller meeting with around 350 representatives from 11 regions (Kshetra) and 43 states (Prants) units of the RSS and organizing secretaries of seven of the prominent allied organizations.

While contemporary issues would also be discussed at the ABKM Arun Kumar said adding that the thrust would remain on the core organizational issues. The meeting will begin October 31 at the Balasaheb Deoras Auditorium in Ram Ratan Vidyamandir International School in Keshav Srushti, Arun Kumar said.

RSS Saha Sarkaryavah Dr Manmoan Vaidya shall address a press conference to share information on the issues to be deliberated during the meet on Wednesday, while RSS Sarkaryavah Bhaiyaji Joshi shall address the press conference on Friday November 2 wherein he shall put across views of the RSS over several issues apart from sharing information on the deliberations at the ABKM meet, Arun Kumar said.
