Despite Centre’s obstruction, options open for Kadapa Integrated Steel Plant: Chandrababu Naidu

Kadapa, Oct 31: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu on Tuesday announced that the state government will take all possible steps for the proposed Integrated Steel Plant in Kadapa district. Addressing the gathering of ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha’, Naidu said that the state government with all resources is capable of starting the Steel Plant.

Taking a pot-shot at the center, Chandra Babu claimed that the Narendra Modi government is intentionally delaying the vital project. He further added that Kadapa Steel Plant is a legitimate right of Andhra Pradesh and must be implemented as per the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act.

Referring to the feasible report presented by the Macon, Babu mentioned that the state government has already addressed the key issues raised by the Union government

On this occasion, the TDP President slammed YSR Congress Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy for not pursuing the matter of Kadapa plant. Jagan is dancing on the tunes of BJP and hence categorically kept mum on Kadapa factory.
