Entire world recognizing Andhra Pradesh’s efforts on Natural farming: Chandrababu Naidu

Vijayawada, Oct 5: Underlining the importance of technology in the field of natural farming, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that natural farming developed by the state farmers is a potential mean to address the future challenge.

Addressing the workshop on Capacity Building of ZBNF Lead Farmers' here, Naidu urged farmer community to gear up for the implementation of 100% Zero Budget Natural Farming before 2024. The Chief Minister informed that 5 Lac acres of land will be cultivated under natural farming by this year.

Appreciating the successful implementation of 'Zero-Based Nature Farming' a state-crafted farm policy, Babu urged the farmer community to focus on product certification and other technical aspects in order to target the international market.

Natural farming helps in improving soil quality thereby improving the health of people through pesticide-free food production, he observed.

Talking about the recent convention held at the United Nations Organisation, the Chief Minister told that AP’s initiative has caught the attention of leading countries who are willing to apply the phenomenon of natural farming.
