Chandra Babu Naidu calls on Rahul Gandhi; pitches for united efforts against BJP

New Delhi, Nov 1: Intensifying the outreach campaign against the BJP ruled Central government, Telugu Desam Party National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu today flew down to the national capital and met Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

According to media reports, after Telangana Naidu is keen on joining hands with AP unit Congress. On this occasion, Senior TDP MP Jayadev Galla, CM Ramesh, AP Finance Minister Ramkrishna and other party officials were present.

Earlier, the Chief Minister met NCP Chief Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abdullah of National Conference and discussed the proposed Non-BJP front ahead of the prestigious 2019 general polls. Later Naidu called on senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Gulam Naabi Aazad.

Speaking to the media, Naidu said that regional outfit should join hands to save the future of the nation from the disastrous Modi government.



Yesterday at the launch of TDP’s membership drive, Babu claimed that political outfits like YSR Congress and Pawan Kalyan led Jana Sena are working behest of Modi government.

Taking exceptions to Jagan Mohan Reddy’s demand of the centrally monitored probe, Naidu said that the YSR Congress who is facing the charges of corruption is pitching hard for BJP’s aid.

Irked with the absence of Telugu language in the multilingual display board placed at the memorial, the TDP Chief took a dig of Prime Minister Modi and said that by ignoring Telugu language BJP has once again hurt the sentiments of Telugu people.
