Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 1: Lauding the spirit of Karthiyani Amma who scored 98/100 marks in the state government’s Literacy Mission, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today greeted Karthiyani Amma and handed over the certificate of excellence.
At the age of 96, Karthiyani Amma, a native of Alappuzha shined in the 'Aksharalaksham' literacy program, under the banner of Kerala State Literacy Mission.
Expressing happiness over the achievement, Karthiyani Amma said that after watching small children, she made her mind to get back to the educational activity.
