Gujarat to launch online Non-Agriculture' process; to buy groundnut at Rs.1,000/maund MSP

Gandhinagar, November 12: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday announced that Gujarat Government will launch the online 'Non-Agriculture' (NA) Process and various related schemes at the Collectorate from today (Labh Pancham Day).


 

He gave details of the scheme and also announced that the government will also start buying groundnut at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs.1,000 per maund, also from Labh Pancham Day. He said these decisive and effective important pro-people policies of the government should go a long way to improve the rural economy.

Rupani was speaking at a function to mark Jogi Swami Maharaj's birth anniversary at Kareni village in Dhoraji taluka of Rajkot district.

He asked the people to invoke the blessings of Jogi Swami and absorb his teachings to make Gujarat addiction-free, virtuous, capable and strong. He said that modernisation of villages is necessary but at the same time they should maintain the spirit of Gujarat. He called on the people to walk on the path shown by the jewels of Gujarat like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Narsinh Mehta, Kavi Narmad, Dayanand Saraswati.
