Surrounded by smiling people, PM Modi beat a traditional red dholak before he took the mic. He praised voters of the Maoist-hit Bastar region for the high turnout despite the threats.

Slating the achievements of the NDA government, PM Modi lashed Congress for unfulfilling promises made to the people and not working for their welfare.

Mocking a sly comment on the one family dynasty, PM Modi said, “I want to challenge the Congress, let some good leader of Congress become the party President for 5 years, then I will say that Nehruji created a truly democratic system there.”

Lashing out at Congress President Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi said that Congress nationalized the banks in the name of the poor then why don’t the poor have no access to any bank accounts? When the NDA government came into power, they empowered the poor, opened bank accounts for them and made everything feasible.

PM Modi also stressed that the motto of every government must be welfare of all, not a select few. He said his government’s mantra is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and is committed that fruits of development reach every citizen.

Attacking opposition Congress, PM Modi said that four generations of Congress ruled but they have nothing to tell the people. On the other hand, the NDA government is giving a report card every day of what it has done in last four years.

Prime minister Narendra Modi said that the tribal people of Bastar region of Chhattisgarh have defeated undemocratic elements by casting their votes in large numbers in first phase of assembly elections. PM Modi said the high polling percentage in 18 Maoist affected constituencies in first phase, proved that the roots of democracy is how much deep in India.
