Kolkata, Nov 19: Ahead of the 2019 general elections, in a bid to fine-tune the proposed grand alliance against BJP, Telugu Desam Party National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu today called on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
 
Naidu flew down Kolkata to discuss the plan of action for the upcoming crucial meeting of non-BJP forces which is scheduled on November 22 in the national capital. On this occasion, senior TDP leader and Rajya Sabha MP YS Chowdary, CM Ramesh and others officials were present.

Earlier, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister met Congress President Rahul Gandhi and pitched for the united fight against the rule of Narendra Modi led BJP government. In Telangana, Naidu’s TDP has already joined hands with Congress.

The TDP National President had a brief interaction with regional leaders like Mayawati, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah, Dravida Munnetra Kazhgam leader MK Stalin, JD(S) Chief HD Devegowda and Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy.
