Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate 10th Agro Vision Summit

Nagpur, Nov 19: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the 10th edition of Agro Vision, Central India's biggest agricultural Conclave on November 23. The three-day mega event will be held at Nagpur’s Reshimbagh ground.

Speaking to the media here, Union Surface Transport Minister and Founder of Agro Vision, Nitin Gadkari made an official announcement about the three-day mega event. Besides Yogi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, MoS Hansraj Ahir will grace the inaugural session. Last year, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu was the Chief Guest.

A pet project of Union Minister and Nagpur MP Nitin Gadkari, AgroVision expo aims to train farmers about the new technologies, innovative methods to increase the farm yield, bridge the knowledge gap and empower them through enhanced income.

Informing about the event, Gadkari stated that, the three-day convention will discuss and deliberate the issues faced by the farming community. The Agro Conference will be a great opportunity for creating awareness among the farmers of the Vidharbha region.

The 10th edition of Agro Vision Summit, near about 25 workshops and interactive sessions on different subjects such as production technology, farming styles, agro-based business, cotton cultivation, vegetable cultivation, micro-irrigation, agriculture finance, organic farming, sandalwood farming, orange processing will be organized.
