The leader of the opposition assured that BJP will raise the matter in the upcoming Winter Session of the Karnataka assembly.

Extending support to farmer agitation, Yeddyurappa announced that the principal opposition party will organize a mega rally on December 10 where more one lakh workers will participate. The meeting will be held in Belagavi region where the farmers are fighting on the demand for the fair price.

On Tuesday, responding to the plight of sugarcane farmers, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy assured that the demand of higher minimum support price will be addressed soon.
